Lingual Orthodontics
Lingual braces are placed behind your teeth, and are therefore virtually invisible to other people. Usually, lingual brackets are made of metal.

The obvious benefit of this type of treatment is that no one will know that you are wearing lingual braces unless they look inside your mouth!
The Lingual orthodontic systems are particularly suitable for adults and for permanent dentition. Lingual orthodontics can also be suitable for adolescents with few conditions: the permanent teeth have fully erupted (in case there is an impacted tooth then all the permanent teeth should have erupted excluding the impacted which will be treated), and the lingual surfaces are large enough to allow for placement of lingual brackets.
